What Do Pearls Really Symbolize To Those Who Adore Them?

Today real pearls are among one of the most coveted gemstones in the world.  Not only do they look elegant, serene and beautiful, they add a touch of glamour to any outfit in your wardrobe.

But what do pearls really symbolize?

As you will soon discover that for many different parts of the world pearls symbolic meaning varies somewhat.

For example some eastern philosophies equate the pearls to spiritual wisdom and awareness.

Yet in many Christian societies today is that there are some who believe that pearls were formed after Adam and Eve were banished from the Garden of Eden by God.  It is said once they were banished they cried and their tears then became pearls.

These days there are some people who believe that pearls symbolize self-care and self-love.  They believe this as an organism that is not only attempting to take care of itself but also protect itself as it creates each pearl.

Like most gemstones today it is believed that pearls contain certain healing properties that will help to ward off evil spirits.  It is thought that they will help balance the wearers sacral and heart chakra, whilst also helping to remove any negative energy.
